Soul n Solitude.....
At times, this soul wanders in search of its solitude. I sit in this cramped chair gazing at the doomed WINDOWS when my soul happily ditches me and goes away on its own free flight right out of the windows to freedom... As I keep staring into this Microsoft boon cursing all the while my brilliant ideas of work- ex, my soul treats itself to a lovely breeze by the sea shore.... Oh! how my soul broke away its ties with this cold building of glass walls and counting its foot steps on the wet sands, as the ocean touches her smooth skin.... I sit here crumpled in my own body wondering if I'll ever again get the luxury of watching the sun set with a hand to hold on to and miles n miles of water and solitude to look forward to.... will I ever again......

From that day on...

remember the day your shadow left me jaded
I was a lone blind beggar across the street
Waiting to be healed by the sound of a dime
From that day on left unnoticed by the sidewalk
I remember the day your shadow left me bereft
I was a dying infant, just born, suckling a wisp of air
Unloved on the war field where my mother lay dead
From that day on I lay unloved on ruins of a war.
I remember the day your shadow left me crippled
I was a sixteen year old slave, waiting to be sold
Bare-chested, for a spectacle of lurid lust of thousands
From that day on I lay ashamed quivering with innocent fear
I remember the day you shadow left me dead
I was me. Holding flowers, eyes open, afloat on the river
A lone dead bride whose groom never came
From such a day you can never dry these tears

Has this Gal gone far???

silent mango grooves across the street
The salient ground of a few
I shall ask thee,
to find me
Have you seen the little girl who once walked?
Barefoot, naked, wild and uncensored!
How she tipped across the branches in a few
And land on the sand counting thy fruit
Has this girl gone far?
Has this girl gone far?
Oh untiring tides of the oceanT
he eternal love of sand and sea
I shall ask thee,
to find me.
Have you seen this little girl who once walked?
Across the wet sand, tracing footmarks
As she danced to tunes of the winds ballad
Let her self loose in the trance of ocean mist
Has this girl gone far?
Has this girl gone far?
Oh willful mirror of many reflections
And the holy giver of visions many
I ask thee? Do you see me?
Will I ever see the little girl again?
Smiling, singing, whining in pain?
Will I ever see the little girl again?
Standing breached on the other side of your pane
